I woke up this morning to find this strange box on my bed…
I wonder what’s inside? I can’t read the strange letters on the cover. S… Sw…. Sweets? It must be cake! I love cake!
… ………. Okay okay, I confess (I wasn’t fooling anyone anyway). Yes, I caved in and bought a Nintendo Switch with my brothers. And we bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2 too. And Breath of the Wild, but I won’t be playing that.
Actually I won’t be playing Xenoblade either, at least not right now. I’ll give it a little test tonight but that’s about it. Things are going pretty well in Raidou Kuzunoha now that I’ve leveled up a bit and added a few points to VIT. Plus I really really feel like an action RPG right now. It’s just one of those things. Apparently Kuzunoha is quite short so I’ll be done soon anyway. And then… heh heh heh heh heh heh heh. Heh heh.
Grats on the new system.
Around the holidays I actually also thought about probably getting a new one sometime this year. The Switch is really enticing as a concept to me, because sometimes when a console chains me in front of the TV I’m thinking “I’d really like to play this game on furniture x/in room y” while playing some handheld games I sometimes think “I’d wish I’d be able to play this on the big screen to appreciate the visuals more”. With the Switch you can now… switch.
But then the thing doesn’t really have any exclusives I’m interested in, so currently I’m still leaning more towards a PS4… and that Rathalos limited edition one’s siren call sure is sexy…
All the while my brains vehemently says “no bitch, you don’t need a new system with even more games you’ll never get around to playing, especially not for 500€”.
If it doesn’t make financial sense, don’t do it. The only thing I want to play on the Switch is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, so I only jumped in because I split the cost three ways with two others. At least wait for a sale on the PS4.
Ooooh nice! I’m jealous.
How come you won’t play Zelda: BOTW? Did you already play it on the Wii U?
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 seems like a massive RPG that can eat up all your hours. Alas, I’ll continue on with my 3DS for the time being, but I hope to get a Switch down the line.
I’ve never played a Zelda game before, but they look too hard for me. Maybe 10 years from now when I’m an adventure game guru.
Niiice! I’ll get a Switch myself sometime, but I’m too occupied with so many other games for now. I’d definitely give the Zelda and Xenoblade chronicles games a go though
I’m on it! I already started Xenoblade.
